Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston. The album Whitney which came out in 1987 and featuring the popular tracks How Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, was a follow-up to her success from. But it is The Bodyguard (1996) that cemented her position as the top selling album in music. While her performance in the film and soundtrack were not well-received however, her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and its accompanying album dominated the albums and singles charts around the globe for several months. They sold 44 millions copies. Their daughter Bobbi was born in March of 1993, the year she got married to Bobby Brown. At this point her use of drugs was well-documented and she began using daily by 1996.
